US Mobile Also Offers Pooled Data Plans
In April 2021, US Mobile added pooled data plans. The plans were updated with lower pricing on August 2023, and made available on both the T-Mobile and Verizon networks instead of only on Verizon. In September 2023, the plans were improved again with more data in the base plan. The base plan was updated to have 2GB of high-speed data instead of 1GB. Automatic top-ups were also added, so customers can have more data added to their accounts at any time their data allotment falls below 10%. Data top-ups last and carry over for one additional billing cycle.
Subscribers can add as many lines as they’d like to a pooled plan. Each line cost $8/month with taxes and fees included. Each line comes with unlimited talk and text. Shared data that all lines draw from can then be added to the data pool priced at a cost of $2 per GB. There is no limit to the amount of pooled data that can be added to an account. The plans do not come with unlimited 2G/slow data once the high-speed pooled data allotment runs out. But more shared data can be added to an account during a billing cycle as a top-up at the same $2/GB rate.
Subscribers can have multiple pooled plans on multiple networks managed under one account. Any device that can connect to the AT&T, Verizon or T-Mobile network can be part of a pooled plan with the exception of Apple Watches.
US Mobile also allows its subscribers to mix and match any plan. So if you are a subscriber you can have unlimited plans, pooled plans and custom build plans all managed under one account if you’d like.
In December 2023, several US Mobile plans were updated to include discounts when they’re prepaid for a year in advance. The plans were further updated in June 2024.
